Departing from Melbourne, this two day trip will allow you to discover the wonders of the Gippsland Region.
On our first day we meet some of Australia's most famous wildlife at Maru Craft Wildlife Park. We visit one of the region's wineries and sample some of the local drops. Other highlights of day include Cape Woolamai and the Nobbies/Rocks.
At the end of the day take part in the famous "Penguin Parade" at Victoria's Phillip Island. Each night these amazing creatures emerge from the sea and delight the onlookers with their unique habits.
We stay overnight in a charming cabin park/hostel allowing more time to explore the beautiful Phillip Island.
On Day 2, we visit the southernmost point of mainland Australia - Wilsons Promontory National Park. Be on the look out for kangaroos and emus in the wild. We will also visit fern gulls and discover amazing mountain views. Other highlights of today include a visit to Mt Bishop and Squeaky Beach.

Day 1: Melbourne - Great Ocean Road - Ballarat
Depart your accommodation around 0800h and head for Geelong, the second largest Port in Victoria. Meander along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay with various stops to learn more about the the tragedies of the unforgiving shipwreck coast. Lunch along the Great Ocean Road. We now traverse the Otway Ranges and head for the limestone coast with its rugged Rock formations around Port Campbell. Stop at the 12 Apostles and the site of the tragic shipwreck at Loch Ard Gorge to listen to some fascinating stories of that time. We now leave the ocean and head inland for the Gold mining Town of Ballarat for overnight.

Day 2: Ballarat - Halls Gap, Grampians National Park
Breakfast is ready by 0800h. A short City tour of Ballarat after departing our accommodation by 0900h. We will visit Australia's award winning gold museum Sovereign Hill where the 1850 gold rush comes alive again. Learn about the thrill and hardship diggers have experienced from all over the world in those early days. One can pan for gold, see the impressive steam engines and steam driven pump at work, watch skilled tradesmen manufacturing beautiful craft - wander back in time until about 1400h in the afternoon. A scenic drive of less than two hours through sheep and cattle farming countryside follows heading west for the Grampians National Park. From Ararat we meander along the Mount William range to Halls Gap, our destination for tonight.

Day 3: Halls Gap, Grampians National Park - Mt.Gambier - Adelaide
Today breakfast is served around 0730h. We depart no later than 0830h to explore some of this magnificent National Park and some of the most spectacular views Victoria has to offer. We then leave Halls Gap and travel to Dunkeld and further on to Hamilton where we have lunch. Travel on to Mt.Gambier, a farming and timber producing town nestled around an extinct Volcano. Your domestic flight departs at 1700h arriving in Adelaide at 1800h. Transfer to your City hotel.

DAY 1 - We pick you up at your hotel and head up into the Adelaide Hills with Mt Lofty Summit offering sweeping views of Adelaide. We then travel towards Robe, along the Coorong National Park which has an abundance of waterbirds and spectacular scenery. Our travels then take us to the World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves. We end the day staying amongst the vines in the Coonawarra wine region, dining on fresh, local produce.
DAY 2 - After breakfast, we travel into the Shipwreck coast. We travel through Mt Gambier before we discover Tower Hill Reserve where we are likely to see Emus, Koalas, Kangaroos and Echidnas. London Bridge, Bay of Martyrs and Bay of Islands are local icon visited before lunch. We then travel on to discover the Twelve Apostles and learn of how they were created. A short drive further along the coast takes us to Loch Ard Gorge, the site of the most infamous shipwrecks along this coast. Your guide tells the story reading from the diary notes of Tom Pearce and Eva Carmicheal while original photographs and artifacts from the ship are passed around.
We continue our drive through the Otway National Park with its majestic Mountain Ash forest and rainforest. While hear learn of the rich Aboriginal heritage of the region and the early contact period with European settlers. We then arrive at you 4 star accommodation set within native forest with stunning ocean views close to Apollo Bay. Following a dinner, we take you on a 'Rainforest by Night' walk to see the magical glow worms (weather permitting).
DAY 3 - After a continental breakfast we turn towards Melbourne. Our drive takes us along the scenic and world renowned cliff-top drive of the Great Ocean Road. We lunch in Lorne then drive along the surfcoast visiting famous Torquay and Bells Beach. This region also allows us to give you close encounters with kangaroos, koalas and other wildlife. Our journey then takes us through Geelong, visiting its waterfront before arriving in Melbourne.

Awaken the beat within! Learn the fundamentals of Djembe drum technique and timing by exploring dynamic rhythms from Guinea, Ghana, Gambia and beyond. Develop your sense of coordination and enjoy the envigorating experience of creating pulsing, tribal beats with others.
Our skilled percussion teachers have trained extensively both in Autralia and Africa/Middle East. They demonstrate a clear and supportive teaching style and for all levels and are very active member of Melbourne's world music and arts communities. Both have recorded and performed with many world music and percussive ensmbles locally and internatinally, including Melbourne favourites Unified Gecko (Turkish Fusion) and ZaZu (West African Fusion), the Moroccan Six (percussive), Yalla (Middle Eastern) and Loth Lorien (Celtic).
These classes are perfect for students at either absolute beginner or intermediate level (0-12 months experience). We will teach you the fun basics of technique, timing and rhythm patterns and beyond.

Travel in a small group and explore Port Phillip Bay and its magnificent Peninsulas. This tour takes you along the coastal 'Bay road' and through bayside suburbs such as St Kilda and Brighton on our way to the Mornington Peninsula.
Visit spectacular Arthur's Seat for stunning views of Port Philip Bay. Home of some of Victoria's best wineries we visit one of Mornington Peninsula's favorites for a tasting. This area also abounds in fruit and floral delicacies; we give you the opportunity to experience this through a visit to a local berry or lavender farm.
We enjoy lunch at a scenic restaurant at Sorrento, home of Victoria's first penal settlement in 1802.
Relax and enjoy a 40 minute scenic ferry ride across the bay from Sorrento to Queenscliff. From the water get a unique view of some of Portsea's mansions and recently rescued National Park. The journey takes us past the entrance to the Bay called the 'Rip', where many a sailing vessel met their demise only hours from safe arrival in Melbourne.
Queenscliff is one of our most historic seaside villages and our gateway to the Bellarine Peninsula.
Continuing our journey we visit the lighthouse at point Lonsdale where we venture out into the 'Rip', this time by foot, along this long wooden pier. Below this lighthouse and set amongst the rocks is a cave of some significance. It was the haven for a very famous convict escapee by the name of William Buckley, who escaped from Sorrento in 1803. Said to be the man behind the saying 'Buckley's or none' he lived in this region with the local aborigines for 32 years.
We travel back towards Melbourne along the Bellarine Peninsula and through Geelong. We stop for afternoon tea overlooking Geelongs 'Waterfront' complex, complete with pier, marina and infamous bollards. We'll arrive back in Melbourne around 5:30pm.

Day 1
Depart Big Blue Lounge Moorabbin Airport Melbourne, over flying Melbourne city enroute to Mildura. We enjoy lunch on the banks of the

heading back into town via the river.

Day 2
Enjoy breakfast and then a chance for some last minute shopping or trying out the local produce. We lunch at the Enjoywine Café where we sample local produce matched with local wine before our
short 45 minute flight to Kars 60km from Broken
Hill. We provide you with free time to wander around and visit the local school house museum
on Kars. Afterwards join us for pre-dinner drinks in the courtyard, which is followed by dinner of freshly BBQ'd Australian meats. Enjoy the remainder of the night relaxing under the outback stars.

Day 3
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, before taking a short 10 minute flight into Broken Hill. Spend the day viewing the Art Galleries of this well known
outback region and enjoying a Silverton lunch at the Broken Earth café that is perched high up over looking the Broken Hill township. We return to Kars Station that afternoon.

Day 4
We depart for the famous Murray River town of Echuca for morning tea before travelling to Brown Brothers Winery at Milawa for lunch and samplings of great Victorian food and wine. Afterwards enjoy the scenic scenic one hour flight to Melbourne.
As part of our intimate experience we limit groups to a maximum of 4. We operate with small groups of 2-4 clients. Bookings are made on demand.
